Letter to Gibbons: Sign Domestic Partners Bill

Dear Governor Gibbons,

The Green Party is on the rise in Nevada. Copious more people voted Green Party in the last election than are registered.

The national Green Party platform has called for domestic partner marriage for over a decade.

As Co-Chair of the Green Party of Nevada I can speak for all of our members when I say we wholly support SB283 and are proud that our state is taking this important stand on equality for everyone. This bill is the right thing to do for all people in the state of Nevada.

The passage and your signing of SB283 is another bellwether for the ever-increasing relevance of the great state of Nevada on the national scene.

Our Green Party members in this state, across the country and throughout the globe look forward to your signature on SB283.

Letter to Heidi Gansert, my representative. All of her letters so far have simply said "Thank you for your note." Never committing or answering my questions. Very frustrating and, indeed, inappropriate of one's assembly person.
