Lisa, who is a member of this group, was one of the key people behind the first solar installation at Burning Man out of which sprung Black Rock solar. They've been targeting schools mostly for low cost, volunteer installations. I've been working ...
And also it looks like there is a Green Power program with NV Energy and the Desert Research Institute, where money donated in the electric bill goes to some solar projects. It is not specified what the projects are, and I plan on e-mailing DRI to...

If you want you can either start a group or a discussion and if you have questions, fire away. There's lots of material coming up soon. I'm hoping to grow my own wheat and oats on my urban residential property. We'll see how that goes. And we'll be filming various attempts at renewable energy installation.
Lots coming up!

A few words about YOU >>
I'm doing a paper on renewable resources in the city of Reno. I would love to hear from everyone. It would be quoted and I would love to learn more about people's topics and lifestyles.
For whom did you vote for President in 2008?
Barack Obama
What does the near future look like to you?
Everyone gets along and basic necessities are worked out in neighborhood villages. Necessity becomes the mother of invention. Life gets very local. People relax. Stop running around. Spend more time talking to neighbors in the streets and walking their dogs together.
