The rich want to feel special. If everyone has the same healthcare--like they do in all other developed nations--they are no longer special. And they don't like that.

I do see my self with green interest though not registered green. I have friends of Green party, and may also invite if you wish I am a strong advocate for reforms for affordable healthcare in USA. I am for single-payer HR-676. If I gave reasons I shouldn't stay here I would totally understand; also not of Washoe Co.

What does the near future look like to you?
The seeming ceaseless wealth of the late 20th century is not seen again. Depression sets in with many poor people just able to eat and provide shelter for their families while small minorities of a new middle class trade gold pieces and jewelry for goods and services., Recession. People reduce spending. Many move to large-scale apartment communities where food is grown collectively. Necessities are reduced to weekly food provisions and water. Electricity & Internet access & cable TV become big-ticket luxury items.

I have friends Green. I am seeking out other activists for affordable healthcare including those for single-payer HR-676. Like I said, if my lack of total committment to Green Party is reason I shouldn't stay I would totally understand.
