It all starts off when a small collection of motivated individuals within a community come together with a shared concern: how can our community respond to the challenges, and opportunities, of Peak Oil and Climate Change?

- I've lived in Nevada since the fall of 2007. I am a permiculture person, had an organic farm in Washington, and took the Transition Training in Oakland, CA last May, 2009. I'm looking for a few individuals who will help me get the Transition word out to the masses here in Reno. Email me if you want to help!

- Everyone gets along and basic necessities are worked out in neighborhood villages. Necessity becomes the mother of invention. Life gets very local. People relax. Stop running around. Spend more time talking to neighbors in the streets and walking their dogs together.
- Why are you joining WaGreens?
- I want to work with others who want to help green up Reno. Especially as a Transition community.
