Howdy everybody! The idea of Fair trade is fair for the farmers and artisans, communities and the environment. Supporting Fair trade products saves people from a drastic fall if, for example, the prices of world coffee push millions of coffee farmers and workers into malnutrition and starvation; and losing their jobs and even their farms.

I get a number of products regularly from Equal Exchange. Some of their teas, coffee and cocoa can be found at the GB Food Coop. But I like the 80% cocoa Panamanian chocolate (eat some every day) and their cranberries, so I order from them directly. Need a source for bulk fair trade organic cranberries though. EE's come in small packs and we go through them by the bushel.
